We all know that one dog who acts like they’ve been served a five-star meal….and then turns their nose up at it like a tiny, four-legged food critic. Enter Bluie, now our beloved Blue Heeler with a palate so refined, it was honestly a little concerning.
When we adopted this handsome whirlwind of energy (at a price that made our wallets wince), we quickly realized something was off. Bluie wasn’t just picky he was professionally picky. Mealtime became a high-stakes negotiation, and spoiler alert: we were losing. He was dropping weight fast, and after years of food trials, rotating brands, and more kibble confusion than a doggy detective show, we hit a dead end.
The previous owners even told us they didn’t think Bluie would be around much longer and that they were hoping to find him a family that could give him the care he deserved. Challenge accepted. That’s when we discovered Carna4. Yes, it’s a little pricier than the other brands we’d tried. But here’s the plot twist, it goes way further per bag, so the cost actually balances out. (Take that, math!)
And then….the magic happened.
Within days, Bluie went from “existential crisis at the bowl” to “wait, is that more food?!” He shot back to the land of the living like he’d just discovered the secret to eternal zoomies. Now, he’s bursting with energy, stronger than ever, and thriving like the happiest little cattle dog on the block. We rotate between the chicken and duck recipes (because variety is the spice of life, even for dogs), and honestly? We wouldn’t dream of switching again. Carna4 has given us our boy back – and then some.
